“A great, a very great virtuoso.” - Arthur Rubinstein

Rhoda Scott is recognized as one of the world's leading jazz organists. Her reputation continues to grow with legions of fans throughout the world especially in Europe and the United States.

Born in New Jersey, USA, Rhoda grew up in the environment of many gospel singers, whom she accompanied beginning at the early age of 8, where she acquired her incredible instrumental and vocal feeling.

At the age of 25, she emerged from the Manhattan School of Music in New York with her Master’s degree in music with honours. Rhoda came to France to further enhance her compositions skills with Ms Nadia Boulanger (famous for having students like Leonard Bernstein, Igor Stravinsky, Philip Glass, Michel Legrand, Astor Piazolla and Quincy Jones). Her amazing international career took off following performances at MIDEM in Cannes and “Olympia” concert hall in Paris.

Her broad repertoire ranges from jazz standards to spirituals and blues. Gifted with a prodigious memory, she composes and arranges a major part of her stage performance.

You will be elated by her charisma, her incredible voice and her delicious explanations.
